The Tyrolean Archive for Photographic Documentation and Art (TAP) presents the development of Lienz and the valley floor from the late 19th century to the present based on selected photographs.

The "heart" of the presentation is the media station with its photo episodes, "framed" by panels to illustrate the changes in settlement: The guided tours through Lienz and the valley floor presented in the film show the importance of the cultural treasure of photography in various ways; from political turning points to socio-economic parameters and everyday impressions. Old local photographs can be found as well as glimpses of the unknown city or "vanished" buildings.

These pictorial changes on site sharpen the view on current questions of site development and the future of the region.
